Dear parents,

It was a pleasure seeing/meeting you last Thursday! If you did not attend the meeting and would like a copy of the handout with the information, please leave a note in the agenda and I will send a copy home with your child.

If there are any questions, don’t hesitate to write/call/email me. I have included my email on the side of my blog. (jmakris@swlauriersb.qc.ca)

I have also posted the Educational Websites online, and will be adding more! Enjoy them!

As mentioned, homework will be due every Friday. Please make sure to bring the reading duo tang and the power words duo tang to school every day.  **The blue (Homework), red (Reading Log) and green (Math) duo tangs can stay home until Friday!**

Homework F11

Language Arts:

-Home reading: **Please read attached letter about home reading.

-Read and review colour words.

-Read colour poem (highlighted words); we will be going through the poem throughout the week and highlighting the colour words as we review them.

-Read and practice Power Words on pages 1 & 2.

Mathematics:

-Review numbers 1-20.

-Count by 5’s and 10’s until 20 (refer to the number chart).

-Complete math worksheets; reinforcement of what we will cover throughout the week.
