September 29

Dear parents,

Just a reminder, please keep the following three duo tangs at home until Friday where I will be collecting and correcting their homework:

-Homework Sheets (blue)

-Reading Logs (red)

-Math Worksheets (green)

The only two duo tangs that should be coming back and forth from home to school are the following:

-Power Words (red)

-Reading (yellow)

*However, some parents have asked me to send back the Power Words. Reading, and Reading Log duo-tangs over the weekend and during French week for extra practice. This is a great idea and I will be sending those 3 duo-tangs back home every Friday. They can stay home during French week, but be aware that this is NOT assigned homework. ***Please do not forget to send the books back to school on the following Monday, during English week!

***We will be having a math test on Theme 1 on Friday. Theme 1 consists of sections 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, all of which they have been working on so far. Refer to the table of contents included in the curriculum night overview. We will also be reviewing the concepts in class through interactive activities!

Practice, practice, practice! :)
