                Language Arts:

**Home reading. Keep reading and recording in your reading logs!

-Read the story Maria Counts Pumpkins  with your child and review it every night. *Have them complete the story (p. 8-9). They should be able to recognize the words that are underlined.

-Read, write and practice “at” family words (yellow Reading duo-tang).

-Read and practice new Power Words on pages 8-9.

Mathematics:

***Math Theme 2 test on Thursday, October 30^th, due to Halloween on the Friday!

-Review numbers 1-80.

-Skip count by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s until 80 (refer to the number chart).

-Complete math worksheets (Handouts 2-3 and 2-4); reinforcement of what we will cover during the week.
