Dear parents,

Just a reminder, please keep the following three duo tangs at home until Friday where I will be collecting and correcting their homework:

-Homework Sheets (blue)

-Reading Logs (red)

-Math Worksheets (green)

The only two duo tangs that should be coming back and forth from home to school are the following:

-Power Words (red)

-Reading (yellow)

***We will be having a math test on Theme 1 on Friday. Theme 1 consists of sections 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, all of which they have been working on so far. Refer to the table of contents included in the curriculum night overview. We will also be reviewing the concepts in class through interactive activities!

Homework F12

Language Arts:

-Home reading. Keep reading and recording in your reading logs!

-Read and review colour words.

We will be continuing with our colour theme!
-Continue reading the colour poems (highlighted words); they should be getting familiar with the poems and the colour words, along with the power words that we have been looking at in class! We will continue going through the poem throughout the week and highlighting the colour words as we review them.

-Read and practice Power Words on pages 3 & 4.

Mathematics:

-Review numbers 1-40.

-Count by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s until 40 (refer to the number chart).

-Complete math worksheets (Handout 1-4); reinforcement of what we will cover during the week.

-Study/Review concepts for Theme 1 test on Friday!
