Language Arts: 

**Home reading. Keep reading and recording in your reading logs!

-Read the story What can we do in the snow?  with your child and review it every night. They should be able to recognize the words that are underlined.

-Read, write and practice “snow” vocabulary words (Yellow Reading duo-tang).
-Cut the pictures and glue them to match the words.

-Read and practice new Power Words on pages 14-15.

Math Tests (Homework duo-tang)


Mathematics:

-Review numbers 1-100.

-Skip count by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s until 100 (refer to the number chart).

-Complete math worksheets (Handouts 4-1 and 4-2); reinforcement of what we will cover during the week.

We had a great time last Friday, on Halloween and I would like to thank my homeroom class for their great work, awesome costumes, and cooperation! Here is a picture of the pumpkins that my talented Grade 1 superstars decorated!!
